Driving in wet and rainy conditions brings additional problems for motorists. Here are a few tips for driving in wet and rainy conditions.
✔️ Take your time. Slowing down is the only way to keep your vehicle from hydroplaning (a situation in which a vehicle slides out of control on a wet road).
✔️ Remember that one of the most dangerous times to drive is soon after it begins to rain, as oils on roadway make for slippy conditions.
✔️ Turn your lights on. Turn your headlights on to help other vehicles see you.
✔️ Give other vehicles more space. This gives you and the cars behind you more time to react to traffic.
